Christmas Village in Baltimore

November 26, 2015 – December 27, 2015

German Christmas sails into Baltimore! West Shore Park at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor will once again transform into a European Wonderland for the annual Christmas Village.

After the tremendous success of Baltimore’s sister market – Christmas Village in Philadelphia, which went on to become one of the world’s 10 best Holiday markets – Baltimore got its own version of a German style Christmas Village in 2013. Now in its third year, Christmas Village in Baltimore is back and better than ever!

From Thanksgiving through December 27th, vendors in more than 60 booths will sell traditional European food, sweets, and drinks. They also offer a great shopping experience with international holiday gifts, ornaments, jewelry, and crafts.

Well-known and beloved weekend events, such as the Opening Ceremony with the Christkind from Nuremberg and the official Tree Lighting Ceremony, will be back along with ALL NEW events including a delightful Homecoming Weekend.

The unique atmosphere with thousands of lights, the big holiday tree, and the delicious smell of waffles, gingerbread, bratwurst and mulled wine brings you and your family into the perfect Christmas spirit. If you want to beat the crowd and enjoy Christmas Village for free, come down to the Inner Harbor on a weekday and enjoy wine-tasting events, daily happy hours, Kids Fridays, and live performances by local artists.

If you’re needing a wonderful hotel in Baltimore, look no further. Holiday Inn Express Baltimore has plenty of family packages and cozy amenities for you and yours this holiday season!
