What better way is there to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with the one you love bellied over in laughter? With comedian Katt Williams coming to Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena, you’re pretty much guaranteed to do just that.
Williams may be most known for his role as Money Mike in Ice Cube’s 2002 Friday After Next, but he’s been working and establishing his presence in the industry since the early ‘90s.
He started doing local comedy shows in his hometown of Cincinnati, which eventually led to him performing at places like The Improv, The Comedy Club and on BET’s Comic View. From there, he released his televised standup specials The Pimp Chronicles, Pt. 1, It’s Pimpin Pimpin, and his third HBO special Kattpacalypse to name a few. Outside of his own personal projects, he’s also acted in several shows and films including Norbit, First Sunday and Scary Movie 5.
His latest standup and what brings him to Baltimore, “Conspiracy Theory,” is designed to start a conversation that “encompasses a lot of things that aren’t being discussed other places…about how our process changes about the things we thought we used to know.”
Williams describes this almost 100-city tour as some of his finest work – work that’ll be talked about for some time to come.
The longstanding comedian will be in town for one night only, so get your seats now before they sell out. The show is February 14th at 8pm, and ticket prices start at $52.
