Summer in Baltimore Bucket List

How’s your summer going, Baltimore? Have you been taking advantage of your city? Getting out of the house? Taking the kids or significant other or simply yourself on new adventures? If your answer is anything other than yes, we want you to do better!

It’s summer time, and summer is meant for exploring and enjoying yourself. And because we care at the Holiday Inn Express Baltimore At The Stadiums, we’ve compiled a list of things you can do to make the summer worth it!

You’re welcome.

Try your luck at Baltimore’s Horseshoe Casino

This Baltimore staple is the premiere casino for more reasons than one. Not only can you test your luck at the card tables or slots, but there’s also tons of entertainment available every single day. And if you’d rather just go out for a nice dinner, the casino houses several appetizing restaurants like Guy Fieri’s Baltimore Kitchen & Bar and Jack Binion’s Steak.

Explore the National Aquarium in Baltimore

Sure, you’ll go to the aquarium to give the kids a chance to explore, but soon enough, you’ll find yourself in the same glorious wonderment. From the animals, the preservation efforts, the live entertainment and the educational opportunities, the National Aquarium has something to suit every type of visitor. Plus, you can see dolphins live and up close with their Dolphin Discovery exhibit, so that’s pretty cool.

Take a stroll around Baltimore Inner Harbor

Baltimore Inner Harbor is not only a place you visit to sightsee and take photos. Sure, you’re more than welcome to do those things, but the waterfront is also lined with entertainment, restaurants and shopping too! Visit Harborplace for stores including H&M, Urban Outfitters and The Sport Shop.

See a Baltimore Orioles game

Baseball and summer go hand in hand like swimming and cannonballs. Even if you’re not the biggest fan of the game, why not go out and cheer on your home team? Grab some Orioles gear, have a nice cold beer and enjoy one of America’s favorite pastimes. It’ll be worth it.

Enjoy the summer, Baltimore!
